On weekend afternoons, join us for a relaxing Scenic Cruise. Enjoy
the large window views from our climate-controlled dining room, or head
to our canopied upper deck. We'll point out points of interest as we
cruise past the historic hills and valleys surrounding Lake Granbury.
Snacks and soft drinks available onboard.
Scenic cruises aboard the GRANBURY RIVERBOAT begin
at Pier 144 Marina and travel north for a wonderful view of the historic
Granbury Square centerpiece "The Courthouse Clock Tower".
As the captain turns us south we travel past a Great Blue Heron Rookery,
a unique bell tower, the coppertop house, Leonard's BoyScout Camp area, and
magnificent views of Comanche Peak.
Enjoy our narrators' tales about General Granbury
(confederate Brigadier General), John Wilkes-Booth (said to have lived
out his days in Granbury after killing President Lincoln), Jesse James,
Belle Starr (a legendary local horse thief), Davy Crockett's widow that
moved to this area after his death at the Alamo and the Comanche legends
of how Comanche Peak was named and of the Comanche Chiefs burial caves.
